Our brand advocates are articulated, educated, and able to defend each and every position we display on our products. We ask if you want to wear an expression, educate yourself to be able to defend against those who will attack it.
Civilly Disobedient is not a brand for those who are afraid of confrontation.
I founded Civilly Disobedient because I was frustrated with opinions being censored online and the opportunity for discussions silenced, while rights were being stripped away. I wanted to wear my views on my person, then dare someone to remove them.
Civilly Disobedient has been banned from Shopify, Instagram posts removed, Google and Microsoft searches restricted, and unable to advertise on Facebook. Every step forward has been a fight, but calm seas don’t make for skilled sailors.
As a former Police Officer and S.W.A.T. team operator, I understand how government enforcement works and how to undermine the policies that over reach their authority. They understand suppressing ideas is effective for controlling a population. We need to spread the message of liberty and build friendships of like-minded people.
